An act of the National Assembly to further define the right of education.
Provisions
All persons have a right to elementary and fundamental education (Constitutional Title IV, Article 9).
Such education is compulsory for children and subject to standardized content
Technical and professional higher education shall be freely accessible to any adult who desires such
All educators must be licensed
Content:
No law shall be passed mandating courses on
politics,
military service, or
military science
Compulsory Controversial subjects that must be taught:
Life science such as
biology,
anatomy,
sexual development,
and sexual education; including the use of contraceptives
Civics and Government
No list shall be made banning any book to students, nor shall such books be denied upon request
Degrees:
The Dominion shall recognize the following types of college level degrees in order of education:
Honorary - Awarded for public service equivalent to the individual degree's requirements in lieu of coursework
Science - Bachelor's and Masters of Science. A science degree shall only include education relevant to the degree subject material
Arts - An arts degree shall include general education on top of degree subject material
Education - An education degree shall include coursework to teach the subject material. A Bachelor's and Master's degree is required in the subject matter for an Education degree
Philosophy - Awarded for public service equivalent to the individual degree's bachelor's requirements, and Coursework equivalent to the required course hours for the equivalent doctoral degree. Public service and coursework may not be earned concurrently
Honors and Grading
The following honors shall be issued for bachelor level degrees:
With Highest Honors - shall be awarded to individuals with an average grade of A
With Honors - shall be awarded to individuals with an average grade of B
Degrees higher than Bachelor's shall require a minimum grade average, no honors shall be issued with higher degrees:
For a Master's degree, an average grade of B is required
For a Doctorate, an average grade of A is required
Course hours
Unless otherwise specified, each subsequent degree shall require the course hours of the lower leveled degree on top of its requirements
