Recognition of Foreign Nations

An act of the National Assembly defining under what circumstances a foreign nation shall be formally recognized.

Provisions

  1. Foreign nations shall be formally recognized if:
    1. The Emperor issues a diplomatic communiqué stating such (Constitutional Title III Article 7)
    2. Automatically, if the foreign nation formally recognizes the Dominion
    3. Automatically, if accepted into the United Nations
  2. Foreign nations shall not be recognized:
    1. If their territorial claims are in dispute with a recognized nation, unless:
      1. Both nations are amicable to each other
    2. The nation is a persona non grata under law
    3. The nation has committed a lèse-majesté against the Emperor or Royal Family
