Rank and Royal Orders

An act of the National Assembly to assign ranks, decorations, and define royal orders.

1. According to Constitutional Title III, Article 8: the Emperor may bestow the following orders upon any individual:
   1. Royal Order of Fidelity - Issued to individuals of the old Keithieopian Empire for continuing contributions
   2. Royal Order of the Knight - Issued to military personal who distinguish themselves conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their life above and beyond the call of duty
   3. Royal Order of the Honor - Issued to civilians who distinguish themselves by extraordinary heroism at the risk of their life
   4. Royal Order of Courage - Issued to residents who distinguish themselves by extraordinary heroism at the risk of their life
   5. Royal Order of Merit - Issued to civilians and residents for infamous acts of charity
   6. Royal Order of the Crown - Issued to citizens and residents for extraordinary contributions for the sublimation of the Keithieopian Realm
   7. Royal Order of the Flag - Granted to foreigners for extraordinary contributions for the sublimation of the Keithieopian Realm
2. The National Assembly may grant decorations for wear above rank insignia for:
   1. Action above the call of duty - a silver fleur-de-lis
   2. Action above the call of duty resulting in severe injury - a heart
   3. Action above the call of duty resulting in death - a laurel wreath (post humorously awarded)
   4. Automatically granted for wear when recognized in a Royal Order - a silver or gold crown
3. Any commissioned service shall not share names of rank between branches of service
4. Chevrons shall denote rank and shall be equivalent in number to the paygrade of the rank
5. The following rank names shall be used:
