====== Imperial Measurements ======
An act of the National Assembly for the creation of standardized measures for use within Keithieopia.

===== Provisions =====
  - All official documents shall use the sanctioned units of measure as described in this act
  - Units of measure used outside of Keithieopia be prefaced with "Heathen"; such as:
    - The Gregorian calendar year shall be referred to as the Heathen Year

==== 3. Dates: ====
  - Imperial Year Zero shall be the founding year of the Keithieopian Realm, 2002
  - There shall be 12 months, their names and their origins are:
    - //Unomar// - from Spanish
    - //Dosmar// - from Spanish
    - //Tresmar// - from Spanish
    - //Viermar// - from German
    - //Funfmar// - from German
    - //Sechmar// - from German
    - //Nanamar// - from Japanese
    - //Yamar// - from Japanese
    - //Kokomar// - from Japanese
    - //Dixmar// - from French
    - //Onzemar// - from French
    - //Keithmar// - from the old Keithieopian Imperial Calendar
  - Each month shall consist of 30 days each
  - At the end of the calendar is a special week called "year week" consisting of 5 days (or 6 days when in a "leap year"), their individual names:
    - //Unimid//
    - //Duomid//
    - //Trimid//
    - //Quamid//
    - //Penmid//
    - //Hexmid//
  - There shall be 7 days in a week and the day names shall be:
    - //Uniday//
    - //Duoday//
    - //Triday//
    - //Quaday//
    - //Penday//
    - //Hexday//
    - //Sepday//
  - Written order of the date shall be in smallest to largest unit: Day, Month, Year

==== 4. Time: ====
  - The time shall not be adjusted for daylight savings
  - There shall be no time zones within Keithieopia
  - The Realm shall use decimal time calculated against the Heathen Eastern Standard Time using his formula:
    - The current number of seconds elapsed divided by the total number of seconds in the day
    - For civilian purposes, the decimal time shall be rounded to four places
    - The current day number of the year shall be added as a whole number to the decimal time, when convenient

==== 5. Length: ====
  - Length shall be measured in Kroots
  - 1 Kroot shall equal 5 feet, 11 inches in heathen measurement;
    - 1 Kilokroot = 1.1205808080808082 miles (5916 feet 8 inches)
    - 1 Decikroot = 0.5905508333 feet (7.08661 inches)
    - 1 Centikroot = 0.71 inches

==== 6. Temperature: ====
  - Temperature shall be measured in Thermokroots
  - 1 Thermokroot shall equal 98.6 °F or 37 °C in heathen measurement;
    - 0.324544 Thermokroots = 32 °F / 0 °C
    - 2.1501 Thermokroots = 212 °F / 100 °C
